Charlize Theron breaks things off with Stuart Townsend?

(HMG) – Charlize Theron has split up with Stuart Townsend after 9 years together, according to the The Daily Mail. There have been previous rumors as Charlize is apparently no longer wearing the commitment ring Stuart gave her.
But a friend of Charlize’s said that the breakup happened around Christmas time, because she had lost that romantic feeling toward him. The friend was quoted as saying: “They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended it. She truly loved Stuart but the relationship ran its course. He is heartbroken but she is insisting it is all over.”
Charlize and Townsend met in 2001 when they co-starred in the thriller Trapped. In a recent interview Townsend said he considered Charlize to be his wife, even though the two never had a wedding. It hasn’t been a great run of luck by Townsend of late. The Irish actor dropped out of Marvel Comics’ movie adaptation of Thor because of ‘creative differences’, in January. Townsend was supposed to play the role of Fandral, one of the Warriors Three and ally to Thor.
